Draft real 450 and 250 supercross riders, score points from real race results every week of the supercross season, and see whose team comes out on top in your league.
Start Playing FreeFantasy supercross turns the AMA Supercross season into a season-long fantasy league. You and the other teams in your league each draft real riders before the season starts. Then, every week, your riders' actual finishes in the race earn your team points, and the league standings update as results come in.
You do not need to be an expert to play, but following the 450 and 250 classes helps. A supercross league is the right choice if you want to play along with the stadium season on its own. If you also want to play through the outdoor season, see fantasy SMX or fantasy motocross.
Every team has the same fixed roster, so there are no configuration choices to make:
Real AMA Supercross splits its 250 class into a West and an East region, and each region races its own subset of weekends. That means your two 250 picks will not always both be in action on the same weekend. Some weeks both score, some weeks only one does. You are free to pick any two 250 riders, but a pair that races on different weekends gives you a 250 scorer in more weeks.
To keep teams from looking identical, any two teams in a league can share at most one 450 rider and one 250 rider. The draft and roster swaps enforce this automatically by hiding riders you cannot take.
| Weekly team score | The sum of your top 2 scoring riders that week, out of the four on your roster. |
|---|---|
| Per-rider cap | 22 points per rider per week. |
| Team total cap | None. Your weekly score is whatever your top 2 riders combined for. |
| Weekly tiebreaker | One bonus point if your top 2 riders combine for exactly 44 points (the 450 winner plus the 250 winner). |
| Season tiebreaker | If teams are still tied in the final standings, the tie goes to whichever team scored more in the final race, then the second-to-last race, and so on backward until it is broken. |
For the full explanation, including how the shared-rider cap is enforced, read the league rules.
Leagues are set up ahead of the season so every team has time to draft before racing starts.
Yes. SMX Fantasy League is free to use, with no payment or purchase required to join a supercross league or compete all season.
Four: two from the 450 class and two from the 250 class. Every team in the league has the same roster shape.
Each week your team score is the sum of your top 2 scoring riders out of your four. Individual riders are capped at 22 points per week, and there is no cap on your team total.
A team earns one bonus tiebreaker point in a week if its top 2 scoring riders combine for exactly 44 points, which can only happen when the roster holds both that week's 450 winner and 250 winner.
Yes. Create a private league for your friends, or a public league that anyone can find. Leagues can have up to 20 members.
Prefer the outdoor season? Try fantasy motocross, which scores the 11-round motocross season. Want one league for the entire year? Fantasy SMX combines both seasons into one combined total. You can also compare all three in the rules.
