Three Ways to Play Fantasy Supercross and Motocross

SMX Fantasy League is a fantasy supercross, fantasy motocross and fantasy SMX (SuperMotocross) site in one place. Every league uses the same four-rider roster, so you can learn it once and compete in whichever season you follow.

Fantasy Supercross

Score the supercross season. Your top 2 scoring riders each week count toward your team total, with each rider capped at 22 points per week.

Fantasy Motocross

Score the 11-round motocross season. Your top 3 scoring riders each week count, with each rider capped at 23 points per week.

Fantasy SMX

One league for the whole year. Draft once, score supercross during the supercross season, then motocross, on a single combined season total.

How a Free Fantasy Supercross League Works

  1. Create an account. Sign up free, then create a league or join one. Leagues can be private or public, with up to 20 members.
  2. Draft your riders. Each team drafts four riders: two from the 450 class and two from the 250 class. Any two teams in a league can share at most one 450 rider and one 250 rider, so rosters stay distinct.
  3. Score on real results. Each week your best scoring riders earn your team points based on how they actually finish, and you move up the league standings.
  4. Manage and compete. Make roster swaps, follow weekly results and standings, and see how your team stacks up all season.

Fantasy Supercross, Motocross and SMX FAQ

Is SMX Fantasy League free to join?

Yes. SMX Fantasy League is a free fantasy sports platform. Creating an account, joining a league, drafting riders and competing in a full season does not require any payment or purchase.

What is fantasy supercross?

Fantasy supercross lets you draft real AMA Supercross riders into a team of four and score points from their actual race results each week of the supercross season, then compete against the other teams in your league.

What is the difference between supercross, motocross and SMX leagues?

A supercross league scores the supercross season and a motocross league scores the motocross season. An SMX league is a single year-long league that scores supercross during the supercross season and then motocross once the real motocross season begins, on one combined season total with one preseason draft.

How many riders are on my roster?

Every roster has four riders: two from the 450 class and two from the 250 class. The shape is the same in supercross, motocross and SMX leagues.

How does weekly scoring work?

Your weekly team score is the sum of your best scoring riders that week: the top 2 in supercross leagues and the top 3 in motocross leagues. In SMX leagues the supercross rules apply during the supercross portion and the motocross rules apply during the motocross portion.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. A league creator can make a private league, or a public league that anyone can find and join. Leagues can have up to 20 members.

When do I draft my riders?

Leagues draft before their season begins. Each league holds a live draft, and in an SMX league you draft once and keep the same roster all year, with no separate motocross draft.
